NEW NEWSLETTER DESIGN
We have
changed the layout of our newsletter.
Instead of sending what was basically on the
front page of our website we will put a few
items in the newsletter and let you visit
the site to get caught up on everything. |
WIN $25 GIFT CERTIFICATE TO CASA NOVELLO:
Visit
www.windhamsportspages.com and enter to
win a $25.00 Gift Certificate to Casa
Novello in North Windham. Get caught up on
Windham sports and you may even enjoy lunch
on us too. |
|
COMMUNITY POLL IN WSP FORUMS:
We posted a
poll in the "Free for All" section of the
forums. We want your opinion and/or vote
about the traffic lights proposed for North
Windham by Town Councilor Kaile Warren.
Please take a few minutes and
log into the forums and let us know what
you think. |
SOFTBALL PITCHING CLINICS:
The FREE
softball pitching clinics are coming up
November 18th to December 23rd at Windham
High School. The clinics are open for any
girls in 8th grade or below. There is more
information on
Windham Sports Pages and the coach has
been posting updates about it in their own
thread in the forums. |
|
MIDDLE SCHOOL CROSS COUNTRY:
The Middle
School Girls cross country teams both won
their Championship meets last week. The 7th
and 8th grade team finished undefeated for
the 3rd consecutive season. We already have
some of the coverage on the site and will be
adding more this week. |
ATHLETE OF THE WEEK:
The long
awaited "Athlete of the Week" award is
finally a reality. Windham Sports Pages and
Friendlys Restaurant has teamed up to
recognize a Windham youth athlete each for
their hard work and accomplishments. I
should have the nomination page built by the
end of the week. |
|
MIDDLE SCHOOL FOOTBALL:
The Windham
Middle School football team came up short
for their quest of a championship but still
had an amazing season, going undefeated
through the regular season and winning their
first round playoff game before losing to
Noble in the second round. The entire season
is archived on
www.windhamsportspages.com |
VOLUNTEER OF THE MONTH:
We will be
announcing our second "Volunteer of the
Month" award winner next week. The story
about September's winner, Bill Ciccarone
also ran in the Windham Independent and the
Lake Region Newspaper. Voting for November's
volunteer of the month is now open.
Nominate the person you think goes above
and beyond to make Windham youth sports
better. |

I posted all
of the boys and girls high school
basketball schedules, as well as the 5th

back for updates to the schedules as well as
any scores, stats and stories that we can
gather. |
