Three Windham Travel Soccer Teams Play in Finals

Three Windham travel soccer teams made it to the finals of their respective divisions at the Falmouth Fall Classic this weekend. The U14 boys faced PAYSA, the U12 Girls battled Saco and the U13 Boys went up against Saco. I won't ruin the surprise, click on the links above to read about the games and check out picture of the action. Discuss all of the action from the Falmouth Fall Classic in the WSP Forums

Football

The Windham Middle School football A squad remains undefeated after a convincing win against Kittery under the lights on Saturday night. They travel to Saco next weekend to play Saco in the battle of unbeatens. It is a big game for the team. Home field advantage in the playoffs, #1 seed in the playoffs and bragging rights as the regular season champs are all at stake.

The Middle School football B Squad also won their game against Kittery.

If you weren't at Saturday night's middle school games you missed a lot of excitement off the field too.

Between games the Windham Youth Football teams were introduced to the cheering crowd. The Junior and Senior Knights and Junior and Senior Bulls converged at mid-field as the announcer called them out one at a time.

As halftime approached during the A Squad game we threw WSP T-Shirts into the stands. We are going to do this again. Keep an eye out for flying t-shirts the next time you are at a game.

Middle School Field Hockey

The middle school field hockey teams have two games this week. Tuesday at Lincoln and Thursday they host Bonny Eagle.
