Lewiston- The
Windham Jr. Legion team was defeated by the
number one seed, Lewiston tonight in a
shortened game 12-7, despite all attempts to
complete the game.

Windham Merchants Jr. Legion defeats Fayette
Staples 12-5 in first round playoff action.
Windham, seeded number eight, faced number 9
Fayette.

WHS Baseball Player Invited to Best of New
England Game
Tucker Miller started
out in T-ball and came
all the way up through
Windham Little League
and is now going to be a
senior at Windham High
School this fall. Last
month he attended the
Blue-Grey Classic
Showcase down in Lowell,
Mass. He ranked in the
top 1/3 of over 200 kids
that attended and was
invited back to play in
the Best of New England
game at Lowell and the
North Carolina Classic
in Greensboro, NC.
Between the two of these
games he will be exposed
to over 100 colleges as
a prospect & for
scouting.
Bottle Drive to help
Tucker go to the games.
Tucker is holding a
bottle drive at Patman’s
Redemption on Rte 115 in
Windham through mid
August to help get him
to the games.
