Ethan Spaulding hit 21 out of 25 shots to
win the 10 year old boys division.
Windham ME:
The Knights of Columbus held the district
free throw shooting competition at Windham
High School today. Winners from the Windham
contest in January faced off against the
winner of the Gorham competition to decide
who will represent the district at the state
competition in Old Town on March 13, 2010.

Sixth-seeded Lasell College (11-15, 8-10
GNAC) upset #3 Saint Joseph's College (19-7,
14-4 GNAC), 75-70, in a GNAC Men's
Basketball Quarterfinal on Tuesday night at
the Harold Alfond Center. Rashon Jones '11
(Bridgeport, CT) and Zach O'Brien '12
(Schenectady, NY) paced the Monks with 13
points apiece in the season-ending loss.

WINDHAM—Jackson Taylor of Windham, a senior
at Windham High School, has been selected to
receive the 2010 Principal's Award,
Principal Deborah McAfee announced today.
The award, sponsored by the Maine
Principals' Association, is given in
recognition of a high school senior's
academic achievement and citizenship.

beyond the arc in an 81-50 victory over

play with a 67-39 victory over Lasell

afternoon. Meghan Daigle ’10 (Grantham, NH)
notched her fifth double-double with
game-highs of 16 points and 12 rebounds in
the victory, which was crucial for the
Monks’ playoff hopes.
