aggressive defense and ability to work the
ball carried them in their 50-45 victory
over Scarborough at Windham MS Monday
afternoon. This team had always known that
they could play ball against the Red Storm.
Today they proved it.

The meet
seemed like a State Meet tune up for the
McAuley Lions as they kicked their way to a
very lopsided victory at Davan Pool Friday
afternoon.

game against Bonny Eagle and defeated them
54-33 at Windham Middle School on Thursday.

STANDISH ME:
After the December 27th defeat to Windham,
McAuley came to St. Joseph’s pool with a
full squad and energy to win the meet
105-102 and also defeat Yarmouth with 88
points. Windham managed three first place
finishes and managed a number of seconds and
thirds to add to the point total. The
majority of the girls swim team are
underclassmen, which bodes well for the
years to come.

STANDISH ME:
Windham hosted another meet at St. Joseph’s
College pool Saturday afternoon and defeated
Yarmouth 84-67 in a tightly contested meet.
Both teams are lacking the depth to fill all
lanes in all events so the scoring wasn’t as
high as it could have been.

At their
season opener, Windham won an overtime
contest against Wescott. Wescott came to
Windham and won back that loss in a battle
43-34.

their season opener opponents and defeated
them again 46-37 at Windham Middle School.
Christian Coons took the opening tip off for
the Eagles. He was joined by Joe Francoeur,
Isaac Gurney, Jake Perry and Tom McGowan.
This group put together a strong first
quarter to lead 15-7.

Despite the 44-30 loss, the Eagles learned
that they have to play 4 complete quarters
to be successful.
