Windham, ME: Meghan Gribbin scored 36 points to lead Windham (6-3) past Gorham (4-5) 59-47 in Windham on Tuesday night. Diandra Berthiaume and Steph Frost added eight points each to help Windham avenge last year's playoff loss to Gorham. Windham, ME: Windham youth Basketball's boys senior league entered week two with five unbeaten (1-0) teams, and five winless (0-1) teams. Fair enough, it's too early for those numbers to mean much of anything other than who holds the early season top spots in the standings. Bangor, ME: The Maine Soccer Coaches Association recognized two Windham High School soccer players at their annual awards banquet today. Windham Junior Jordan Symonds was named to the Girls Western Maine State Team. Windham Senior Robbie Lentine picked up multiple honors; being named to the Western Maine Boys Team and being selected to the All New England Team. Lentine And Elliot Maker of Cheverus High School were both named Class A Player of the year. Both players tied for the most votes for the award. Read

Hampden, ME: The Maine Soccer Coaches 17th Annual Senior Bowl was held at Hampden Academy on November 13, 2011. Seniors who are selected as All Stars by the Maine Soccer Coaches Association are invited to play in the Senior Bowl. Windham High School had three seniors, Robbie Lentine, Brian Soucy and Dana King selected. Lentine and Soucy both played while King was sidelined with a concussion he suffered during the State Finals. Read

Windham, ME: In 2008, the Windham Middle School football team defeated Saco 27-6 to win the Southern Maine Youth Football League (SMYFL) Championship. Calvin Field quarterbacked that team to Windham’s first football championship. Three years later Windham is once again defeated Saco (46-14) to win the SMYFL championship. Windham, ME: Windham Middle School capped off an incredible season by walloping Saco 46-14 to capture the Southern Maine Youth Football (SMYFL) Atlantic Division Championship.
Dylan Koza scored three touchdowns, Griffin Jcobson scored twice and Tyler Johnson threw touchdown passes of 36 and 43 yards as Windham dominated Saco under the lights on the Windham High School Stadium Field. Read
