fun activities to introduce the game of
tennis to our youngsters.

designed for players with prior experience

with local players will be scheduled.

ShardlowTennis Academy
Former New
England USPTA and USTA High School Coach of
the Year, as well as 5-time MVC Coach of the
Year, Wilbur Shardlow brings this highly
touted clinic back to WHS for the fifth
year.
ShardlowTennis Academy is a
five-day instructional program intended for
competitive players in grades 8-12. All
staff are certified teaching professionals
with only 4 students/court. Topics
covered include biomechanics, stroke
production, ball control drills, match play
drills, singles/doubles tactics & strategy,
competitive match play drills, and
supervised individual match play. Dartfish video analysis of strokes is

SWIMMING CAMP
July
8-Aug 7th, Tuesdays and Thursdays
from 2:30-4:00 at St. Joe's pool.
Cost is $75.00, deadline to sign
up is June 15
This
camp is designed for beginner to
advanced swimmers who want to
improve stroke technique while
working on a variety of training
methods. Summer will provide the
opportunity for those to learn and
develop knowledge for strength,
technique and aerobic capacity while
spending time with other people who
love swimming. The camp will be
hosted by Windham's Varsity Swim
Coach Pete Small and is open for all
students entering grade 6-12.
Swimmers supply their own suits and
goggles.

MAINE METRO F.C. and the Royal Netherlands
Soccer Association (KNVB) will be Combining
to run a DUTCH SOCCER ACADEMY SUMMER DAY
CAMP.

Metro FC’s summer day camps provide the
ultimate training experience for today's
up-and-coming soccer players. Our camp is a
great way to spend a week with your friends
and our wonderful staff.
This year’s
camp will be run by a top coach from the
KNVB Academy in Holland.
The
KNVB Academy coach will coordinate the camp
and work with Maine Metro FC coaches to
execute the camp.
Soccer fans around the world admire
the Dutch style of play. Players like Johan
Cruyff, Ruud Gullit, Marco van Basten and
Dennis Bergkamp have long set a standard for
exciting, creative play. In the 1980's and
'90's The Netherlands provided the soccer
world with entertaining teams and players.

This week long camp will be
hosted by Windham’s own Varsity Field Hockey
Coach, Cory Merrill and will be assisted by
her coaching staff along with Girls Varsity
players. This camp is designed for beginner
to advanced players who want to improve
their Field Hockey skills along with gaining
a positive learning experience. This camp
is for students entering grades 3 thru
7.

This will be a fun filled week of learning the
game of lacrosse. This is new at Windham and we
are excited about introducing younger players to
the sport. Varsity coaches Deb LeBel and Marty
Lynch, along with some high school players will
provide instruction.
