ORDER COMMEMORATIVE PLAQUE

If you have been around the Windham Summer Youth Track Program you know who Elijah and Isaac Yeboah are.

Isaac and Elijah are always competing at the top of the events they enter.

At this summer's USATF State Meet they teamed up with Zach Pottle and Jake Dixon to win the Midget Boys 4x100M relay gold medal.

Isaac also won gold in the 200M Dash and finished ninth in the High Jump, finishing the day with two gold medals.

Elijah won gold medals in the 800M race walk and 80M hurdles to finish the day with three gold medals.

The Yeboahs are focused on education as well. Both of them are proud of their perfect attendance records. Elijah has his sights set on an Ivy League education, dreaming of one day running track for Yale University.

Q&A

WSP: Where do you see yourself in five years?

Elijah: HOPEFULLY getting ready to apply to Yale University where I dream of running track and playing soccer. I would also like to study math.

Isaac: Still playing soccer and running track but I'll be in my senior year of high school

WSP: Who is your role model in sports?

Elijah: My brother Tony who won the state indoor hurdles and who is attending Villanova and playing soccer.

Isaac: Leon Powe

WSP: Who is your role model in life?

Elijah: My Dad...he's good at everything.

Isaac: My Dad

WSP: How do you prepare for sports?

Elijah: Eat and sleep well, practice a lot and jog

Isaac: Eat a light dinner the night before, a big breakfast the day of. I wear wool socks to keep my feet warm.

WSP: Favorite sports memory?

Elijah: Winning the hurdles at the state track meet this summer and having my Mom there to coach me.

Isaac: It was my Dad's birthday and I told him that I'd score a goal for him and name it the "Duke". I got a chance on a corner Kick when I received a pass on the ground and then bombed it off the crossbar and it rolled in.
