very intense. He has been taking
karate lessons since he was 5yrs
old in January of 2004 he was
Student of the Month at
Fournier's Leadership Karate
Center and was listed in their
news letter. Troy was asked
what he liked about karate and
his response was "learning about
respect." Troy is also on the
SWAT team at karate which stands
for Special Winning Attitude
Team.
This summer at Hoop Camp in
Casco, ME he received a trophy
for defensive player of the week
and his team went to the finals
and lost by 11 points 31-20. It
was an excellent game.
He also attended Kevin
Millington's camp for 2 weeks
and received a Shootout Champion
award.
Troy has also been playing
football since he was in 2nd
grade. He played in the
Westbrook Tuffy Football

went to the championship and
unfortunately lost all 3 years.
One game he had a 95 yard
touchdown. This year he played
for Windham on the Varsity and
JV 5th/6th grade team. He play
at least 80% of all of the
varsity games and then played
100% of the JV game right
afterwards. Marty Laberge and
Scott Howard were his coaches on
JV and Jeff Dyke was his coach
on Varsity.
Troy is also a dedicated and
accomplished student. He reads
20-30 minutes every night to
help improve his fluency and
without an argument. He comes
home from school and does his
homework without being told as
he wants to get his work done
and done on time for himself and
his teacher.
Troy received organizational
awards and a good citizen
award. He has a reputation is
his class with his classmates as
the guy who studies.
Troy works hard for everything
and he always wants to be better
than what he is and he always
does whatever it takes to be
better. His parents don't force
him to do any of the stuff he
does. He does it on his own
because he doesn't want anyone
to think bad of him and he never

will go far with the attitude
and drive that he has.
