Knights of Columbus Hold Windham Free Throw Championship
Youth Basketball
January 16, 2011

Windham, ME: Windham youth basketball players turned out for the Knights of Columbus Windham Free Throw Championship on Sunday.

There were familiar faces there including some of last year's champions; Caila Elder, Erin Malloy, Ethan Spaulding and Kevin Weisser.

Each player shoots fifteen foul shots. The 10 & 11 year olds can choose between shooting from 12 or 15 feet. The older players have to shoot from the regulation 15 foot foul line. The player with the most made shots in each age group moves on to the regional finals at Windham High School's gym on February 19th. The top shooters that day move on to the State Championship in Old Town in March.
