Jadon Petty scored Windham's first basket of the game on a layup that tied the score at 2-2. Chris Brown scored the next eight points for Windham. Brown's run began with Windham trailing 5-2 and ended with Windham leading 10-7. Brown's final basket of the game came after a great move in the lane that got him around his defender and to hoop for two points. King scored the final basket of the quarter giving Windham a 10-9 lead. The Eagles never trailed again.

Windham scored the next 12 points without allowing a King point in the second quarter. Tommy Leavitt got the scoring going with a free throw and followed it up with a basket. Tommy MacAvoy recorded a made free throw, which Leavitt followed up with another basket. Cameron Hoffses scored on a put back and James Mannette scored. Hoffses hit another bucket to end the 12-0 run and the quarter giving Windham a 22-9 halftime lead.

King dominated the third quarter, outscoring Windham 13-5. Hoffses scored and Brown hit a free throw. Boynton capped the Eagles third quarter scoring with a sweet drive and floater in the lane.

Brown scored his final bucket of the game to start the fourth quarter scoring. King scored their only point of the quarter before Hoffses answered with a two-pointer. Boynton, MacAvoy and Petty followed with three straight hoops as Windham went on to the 37-23 victory. Coach Adam Manzo said about the gameplan, "We did the same thing we've been doing, with more aggression and more execution."
