Hampden, ME: The Maine Soccer Coaches 17th Annual Senior Bowl was held at Hampden Academy on November 13, 2011. Seniors who are selected as All Stars by the Maine Soccer Coaches Association are invited to play in the Senior Bowl. Windham High School had three seniors, Robbie Lentine, Brian Soucy and Dana King selected. Lentine and Soucy both played while King was sidelined with a concussion he suffered during the State Finals.

Boy's Game

In the boy's game the West Seniors defeat the East Seniors 7 - 3.

Scorers for the West Squad were Nick Shaw of MDI, who scored two goals, while Blake Hart of Mt. Blue, Steven Osgood of Vinalhaven, Robbie Lentine of Windham, Kevin Lubelczyk of Gorham, and Tim Lavallee of Cape Elizaqbeth each scored single goals. Assists were notched by Adam Simpson of Greater Portland Christian and Brandon Tuttle of Falmouth.

Scorers for the East team were Bengi Abdisalan Saban of Lewiston, Andrew Flanagan of Camden Hills, and Jeremy Beers of Calais. Goalkeepers for the West were Tyler Harrington of Richmond and Ben Olivari of George Stevens Academy. Keepers for the East were Ryan Lincoln of Woodland and Ian Cushing of Camden Hills.


Windham All Star Dana King was relegated to the sidelins during the 17th annual Maine Soccer Coaches Senior Bowl. King suffered a concussion during the Eagles State Finals Victory on November 5th.

Girl's Game

On the girl's side, Windham Junior Jordan Symonds was selected to the team but not eligible to play in the senior only game.

In the Girl's game the East Seniors defeated the West Seniors 5 - 3. Goal scorers for the East squad were Jaclyn Masters of Edward Little, who tallied two, and Cassandra Murano of Brunswick, Chelsea Kuzio of Hampden Academy, and Jillian Diaferio of Southern Aroostook, each notching one a piece.

Ashley Robinson of Bangor assisted on one the East’s goals. The goal scorers for the West were Audrey Adkinson of Gorhan, Brooke Lawrence of Lisbon, and Danica Hurley of Richmond, while Aley Leonardi of Kennebunk and Haley Carignan of Scarborough had assists. Keepers for the East were Missy Thompson of Brewer, Beanna Martin of Oxford Hills, Morgan Swan of Caribou, Samantha Brownell of Central, and Felicia Thornton of Lee Academy. The West keepers were Alex Slivinsky of Vinalhaven and Lindsy Hoopingarner of Richmond.
