With
gusting winds blowing in from center
field, defense was tough to play. The
Tigers took advantage of starter Nick
Sundquist in the first and scored three
runs. Windham had opportunities in the
game with a handful of base runners but
could not manage to put the ball in play
to put runs across the plate. Tiger’s
starting pitcher Pat Roilson made the
best with his fastball followed by
off-speed pitches to keep the Eagles
guessing on pitch location.

Windham
changed pitchers in the fifth inning.
Cole Corey came on in relief for Nick
Sunquist and surrendered three runs.
The Eagles attempted to answer in the
sixth when Christian Coons scampered
home when Colby Waterhouse reached base
on a fielding error at second base.
Waterhouse scrambled to second and then
stole third. He was stranded at the end
of the inning.
