Week three is a thriller for Windham Youth Basketball Senior League
WYBA - Boys and Girls Senior Leagues

Windham, ME: The third week of Windham Youth Basketball's senior boys and girls basketball leagues saw the outcome of four games come down to the final seconds.
In the battle of the dollars vs the doughnuts, the milliionaires vs the muffins; Gorham Savings Bank held on a late charge by Chute's to earn a three point win and improve to 3-0.

The next game was equally exciting as twoo unbeaten teams; Bucks Naked BBQ and Raymond Blue squared off in an epic battle. Shane Donnelly hit a basket with 10 seconds left to lift Bucks to a 24-22 victory to remain undefeated.

The final boys game of the day came down to the final second. Saco Bay PT's Tanner Grover was driving the lane with the score tied 22-22 when he was fouled a Signature Kitchen player as he went up to shoot with one second left on the clock. Grover hit the first shot and the entire Saco Bay team began celebrating. Grover and his teammates were corraled back to the foul line for the meaningless shot. Grover's shot earned Saco Bay their first win of the season.

In the final close game of the day, Unbeaten Raymond Rec and 1-1 Bob the Screenprinter faced off in a defensive battle. Raymond jumped out to a 2-0 lead midway through the second quarter. The game remained close the whole way as Bob the Screenprinter handed Raymond Rec a 12-10 loss, their first of the season.

Windham Youth Basketball will take the next two weeks off. Teams return to action on January 8, 2011.
