Biddeford, ME: Things were knotted pretty much in the first quarter. In the second, Biddeford was forced to punt and really didn’t push the Eagles back very much. The Eagles took control at the Tiger 30 yard line. In a few plays, quarterback Tyler Johnson found Colin Turner and Turner found the end zone. The PAT failed. Biddeford took possession and marched their way down the field and tied the game with 35 seconds left in the half.

In the third, Windham struggled to move the ball and on fourth down. Josh Dugas had trouble handling the short snap and fell on the ball to give Biddeford possession at the Eagle 20. Biddeford wasted no time and moved the ball to record another touchdown. The Eagles’ defense held the Tigers on the conversion.

In the fourth, Windham took possession and called #42, Griffin Jacobson’s number repeatedly. Jacobson rumbled down the field play after play and eventually scored the touchdown to give the Eagles the tie. Windham went for two points and called on Jacobson and he delivered to give the Eagles the two point lead. Biddeford wasted no time in answering the soaring Eagles. Biddeford took the kickoff 65 yards for a touchdown and converted the two point PAT to give them a 20-14 lead.

After the kickoff, Jacobson got the call again. Only this time, it took one play and 55 yards and Jacobson tied the game again. Windham decided to attempt the two point conversion. Tyler Johnson passed to Mitchell Eskilson to record the two points and give Windham the lead again. After the kickoff, Biddeford began moving the ball. With the anxiety building, Windham’s defense started to hold. On fourth down and eight, Biddeford went to the air to get the first down. Windham intercepted the ball with 36 seconds remaining on the clock to seal the win.
