Windham ME:
Gorham (12-5) picked up their eleventh win
in their last twelve games with a 45-32 win
against Windham (6-11).

The Windham
High School gym was packed. Family, friends
and fans came out to show their appreciation
to the seniors for their years of hard work
and entertaining the community. This was the
last game Seniors Amber Allen and Kelsey
McGowan would play in this gym.

The stands
were also packed with people wearing their
OPEN SEASON ON ALS t-shirts. The t-shirts
were sold as part of a fundraising effort to
help Jackson Taylor's family. Jackson's
father Keith has ALS.

Gorham jumped
out to an early lead and never looked back.
Amber Allen went 1 for 2 from the foul line
for the Eagles on first quarter points.
Natalie Egbert and Mia Rapolla accounted for
all of the Rams nine points. Gorham led 9-1
after one quarter.

Windham
managed a slight advantage in the second
quarter with Allen and Olivia Hurd each
sinking baskets and Diandra Berthiaume going
2 for 2 from the foul line to give Windham a
6-5 advantage in the quarter. Gorham got
points from Egbert and Rapolla with some
help from Kristin Ross to take the
14-7 lead into halftime.

Gorham's
Rapolla took control of the third quarter
dropping 14 of her game high 28 points in
the period. Senior Kristi Brown added
Gorham's other three points. Windham
Senior Kelsey McGowan led Windham with four
of her six points in the third quarter and
Allen and Hurd added two points each. Steph
Frost added a point.

Windham
finally got the offense going in the third
quarter with 16 points. Meghan Gribbin
scored all of her six points in the final
eight minutes. The other ten points came on
two points each from five players; Frost,
McGowan, Allen, Hurd and Berthiaume.

Allen led
Windham with seven points and McGowan and
Gribbin added six each.
Windham
travels to Bonny Eagle for their season
finale at 6:30PM on Friday.
