Windham Coach
Jessie Cummings said, "We wanted to start
pushing the ball a lot more and with the
transition points and I thought in the first
half we did that. We struggled with teams
with not great records in the past so we
wanted to definitely come out and jump on
them early and play some tough full court
defense and I thought the girls did that."

Windham
cheering puts on another entertaining
halftime show.
Noble struck
first on the scoreboard again in the third

Kelsey
McGowan pulls down a rebound.
Standout
sophomore point guard Meghan Gribbin talked
about the team's game plan and the results,
"Our plan was to push the ball more because
in our last few games we were walking it up
and trying to set up an offense so coach
said to push it up and the defense would get
tired and we would get quick and easy
baskets. We did it well in the first half
and then when we got a lead we got to catch
our breath and slow it down and run our
plays."
Cummings
added, "I think some kids who haven't
had much confidence in themselves gained
some confidence tonight doing the little
things, rebounding, looking to penetrate a
little more and dishing it to other kids for
some shots. I asked the girls to focus on
that tonight and they really honed in on
that."
