Windham:
Gorham’s First team handed the Lady
Eagles a loss in a 31-22 event.
The Gorham
Rams set the tone early in the game and
constantly led the Eagles by eight to
ten points throughout the game. The
Eagles were struggling to execute a
sound 2-3 zone defense and were getting
burned by the Rams.

Kylie
Bangs gets some final words from Windham
HS Trainer Casey Sinclair. Bangs got
tangled up with Gorham defender and hit
the court hard. This was Bang's first
game back since recovering from a
concussion. David Field photo.
Late in
the game, the competition was halted due
to an injured player. Kylie Bangs, in
her first game back since recovering
from a concussion, hit the court hard
after getting tangled up with a Gorham
player. Bangs was held motionless until
the paramedics arrived. After being
strapped to a backboard, Bangs was
lifted to the stretcher and taken to
Maine Medical Center. After a few
minutes of warm ups, the game
continued. However, the wind was gone
from the Eagles wings as they couldn’t
get the ball past the Rams defense to
overcome the deficit.
