Windham ME:
The Windham High School cheerleaders are
present at all boys and girls basketball
games. They cheer on the team and get the
crowd involved in the game.

They also
perform a routine at halftime that
entertains the crowd while the teams rest
and receive second half instructions from
their coaches. There is another reason for
the halftime performances. They are working
on the routine they will perform at their
cheering competitions.

The team
begins the season performing a small piece
of their routine at halftime of each home
basketball game. They add a little bit more
to their routine throughout the season until
they are eventually performing their entire
2-3 minute routine that they will perform at
the cheerleading competition.
The regional
cheering competition is being held on
Saturday January 23 2010 at the Augusta
Civic Center. Western Maine Class A will be
held in the afternoon.
The 2010 New
England Championships are being held on
March 20, 2010 in Providence Rhode Island.
