Windham came out early intent on limiting Westbrook's number of possessions. The defensive plan worked in holding the high powered Westbrook offense to six total points in the first quarter. Dominic Borelli scored four points and Nick Jobin added the other two. Windham answered with four points from Garrett Clemmer and two from Nick Taylor.

Westbrook got its offense going in the second quarter while Windham continued to struggle putting the ball in the hoop. Jobin added six more points in the second quarter and Sean Murphy scored six points on a pair of three-pointers. Windham's scoring came from Clemmer's three-pointer, Szklany hit a two-pointer and Nolan Allen chipped in with a pair of free throws. Westbrook took a 24-13 lead into halftime.

Windham almost closed the halftime deficit by three points when a half court shot at the buzzer found the rim, rolled around inside and popped out.

Westbrook went on an 11-3 run to begin the third quarter. Windham's points during that span came from an Allen free throw and a Clemmer basket. Allen hit another basket before Westbrook opened its biggest lead of the game 39-20. The Eagles managed to chip into that lead by ending the quarter on a 9-3 run that included a three-pointer from Allen that was sandwiched between two Szklany three-pointers. Westbrook led 42-29 at the end of three quarters.

Windham showed their determination and never give up attitude early in the fourth quarter. Trailing 45-29, they went on a 17-7 run that pulled them to within four points, 52-48. Allen got the run started with a basket, followed by Stephen Lambert's two points. After a Westbrook bucket, Allen received a sweet pass from Jackson Taylor and added two more points with a layup. Taylor followed up his great assist by draining a three-pointer. Clemmer hit a three pointer of his own. Allen continued his huge second half with another basket and "Steve-O" Lambert connected on three-point play. Clemmer ended the run with another bucket.
