SALEM, MA – The St. Joe’s Men’s Lacrosse team fell to 1-2 with a 15-3 loss to Salem State on Tuesday evening. Paul Dolewa ’12 (Saco, ME), Spencer Hunt ’13 (Jeffersonville, VT) and Dylan Chase ’13 (West Newbury, MA) tallied the Monks’ goals and Marco Stefano ’12 (Steep Falls, ME) made 12 saves in goal for the Royal Blue.

Salem State led 9-0 at the half and netted 12 goals before Dolewa finally put Saint Joseph’s on the board 40 minutes into the contest.

Jonathan Falls led the hosts with three goals and four assists for seven total points and Robert Mulroy scored four goals for Salem.

The Vikings held advantages in shots (42-29), groundballs (39-27) and clears (15-8).

St. Joe’s will host Emerson College at Deering Memorial Field in Portland on Wednesday, March 17th at 4:30 PM
