Cote Earns Second Rookie Honor

STANDISH, ME – The Great Northeast Athletic Conference has announced its weekly honors for the sixth reporting period and SJC freshman swimmer Christine Cote (Biddeford, ME) has received Rookie of the Week honors for the second time.

 

In a win over Husson on January 16th, Cote notched a pair of top finishes and a runner-up effort on the day, as the first-year swimmer won the 50-Free (28.32) and 200-Free (2:16.72) events and placed second in the 500-Free (6:22.07).

 

Cote received the same honor from the conference on November 24th after notching a pair of wins and two runner-up efforts against Regis College on November 21st.

 

Saint Joseph’s will host Husson University on Saturday at 1:00 PM.
