The game
started with cloudy skies and 65 degrees
and with State Senator Bill Diamond
throwing out a ceremonial first pitch.
The game ended in a heavy drizzle with
both teams hurrying for the dugouts
between innings. Needless to say the
dismal conditions did little to dampen
the girls and the fans spirits during
the contest. Every batter that became a
runner was eagerly cheered and the
tension was constant throughout the
game.
