Windham- Windham’s Jr. Legion Squad recorded their second victory over RA Webber & Sons 7-2 Monday night.

Center-fielder Matt McLean shows intense focus as he catches a fly ball. Both teams' outfielders struggled with the incoming breeze and fly balls but neither team dropped a fly ball.

Kyle Williams pitched into the seventh inning recording ten strikeouts to help Windham record its second victory of the season.  Joe Bryant had two hits to drive in three runs to aid in the offensive effort for Windham.

Windham batted five hits to create good scoring opportunities against a solid Webber pitching staff.  However, a combination of walks and hits created the opportunities to put runners on and Windham took advantage of a left-handed catcher to steal bases to put runners in scoring position during the game.  In all, Windham stole second base four times during the game.

Windham’s Tuesday night’s game was rained out.  They play again on Wednesday at South Portland’s Wainwright field and Thursday in Cumberland.
