Windham won 12-9.
Gorham had 7-0 lead at end of 2 innings.
Windham chipped
away and literally broke away in 5th inning when
Gorham pitcher threw a ball and cried out “My
arm snapped”! The pitching there after was not
good, and Windham capitalized in a big way.
Calvin Field
was moved from #9 to #1. Last night he went 2
for 3 and scored 2 runs. He played RF and made
a double play in 6th inning. Caught a ball
running in, was on ground and threw from his
knees to first base to get dp.
Championship
game against Portland (maybe) will be Friday
night. Portland beat Windham 4-3 in bottom of
7th Tuesday night. It was very good game. So,
if Windham wins, championship game will be
Saturday.
