STANDISH
ME: Windham hosted another meet at St.
Joseph’s College pool Saturday afternoon
and defeated Yarmouth 84-67 in a tightly
contested meet. Both teams are lacking
the depth to fill all lanes in all
events so the scoring wasn’t as high as
it could have been.

Windham
took first place in all events of the
meet except the opening 200yd Medley
Relay and since Yarmouth didn’t have the
numbers to fill the lanes, couldn’t out
score Windham with lower finishes.

St.
Joseph’s is now the home pool for both
Bonny Eagle and Windham HS Swim
programs. New records are being set by
both the girls and the boys as the
season progresses. Look for faster
times as the season gets closer to the
end as the swimmers prepare for the
State Championships. Workouts will be
classed as “Tapering” where workouts
will be shorter in duration but faster
reps will be had in the pool with more
frequent rests.
Congratulations to those swimmers who
posted new pool record times!
Go Eagles!
