Windham
took its undefeated record against the
Bonny Eagle Scots and retained it in
soundly, defeating them 47-6.
Windham
started the game by winning the toss and
electing to receive. Eagles took
possession at their own 35 yard line.
Colby Waterhouse wasted no time and
passed to Damien Shepard to get the
Eagles to the 22 yard line in Scot
territory. Colby Waterhouse took the
shotgun snap to the end zone to put the
Eagles up 6-0. The two point conversion
carry by Christian Coons was snuffed by
Bonny Eagle.

Bonny
Eagle took control of the ball and put
together a nice march down the field by
first time quarterback Tyson Goodale.
However, Windham’s defense stiffened in
their own territory and on fourth down
and one yard to go, Josh Rickett stuffed
Goodale to record a loss and give the
Eagles the ball on their own 31.
Windham
put together a nice string of plays
starting with Christian Coons gaining 16
yards on a carry. The Bonny Eagle
defense showed that they had some muscle
and forced Windham to fourth down and 11
yards to go. Windham opted to go for
the conversion and Colby Waterhouse not
only got the first down but a 54 yard
touchdown. Shawn Francoeur kicked the
PAT to give Windham the 13-0 lead.

Windham’s
defense again held strong as Bonny Eagle
attempted a fourth down conversion.
Windham took control at their own 42
yard line. After a string of good
gains, Colby Waterhouse took the ball 21
yards to put the Eagles further ahead.
Shawn Francoeur successfully kicked the
PAT to put the Eagles up 20-0.
In the
second quarter, Windham recovered a
punt. Waterhouse found Josiah Purves on
a 25 yard pass reception. Waterhouse
took the ball to the end zone again on a
27 yard keeper to put another six points
on the board. Shawn Francoeur added the
PAT kick to make the score 27-0. Jordin
Allen intercepted a pass at the Eagle 37
to give Windham possession. However, on
a play miscue, Bonny Eagle recovered a
fumble and the Eagle defense held strong
to end the half.

Bonny
Eagle took control of the ball to start
the second half. Tyson Goodale went to
the air to break up the Windham
defense. He then took the ball 40 yards
to put the Scots on the board. The two
point conversion was halted by the
stunned Eagle defense. Windham and
Bonny Eagle traded possessions as the
quarter wore on. Christian Coons found
the end zone on a 35 yard scamper to put
the Eagles up 33-6. The PAT snap was
bad and the attempted two point
conversion failed.

In the
next set of downs for the Scots,
Windham’s defense showed their power.
Windham forced fourth down and blocked
the ensuing punt and took control on the
Scot 20 yard line. To start the fourth
quarter, Dan Stewart took the handoff
all the way to put another six points on
the board. Shawn Francoeur kicked the
PAT to make the score 40-6. The scoring
was not over.
Windham
capped its scoring by stopping Bonny
Eagle on fourth down on the Eagle 30
yard line. Josiah Purves took a few
hand offs and finally charged 45 yards
to record the final Windham touchdown.
Shawn Francoeur kicked the PAT to make
the final 47-6.
