Eleven Windham boys played in the
Seacoast United Holiday Street Soccer
Jamboree at their training dome in Topsham.
The 4v4
tournament is a fun, non results oriented
tournament designed to be like a pickup game
of soccer. General soccer rules are followed
with a little less structure.
There are no
goalkeepers or referees, subs are done on
the fly and the end and touch lines are
friendly in nature, meaning they are a
guideline rather than an absolute and play
continues unless the ball goes way out of
bounds.
The eleven
boys were divided into two teams. The teams
both played three 20-minute games in the
chilly dome.
