We are looking for players who
are interested in playing for a premier soccer club
that focuses on all aspects of player development,
provides top level experienced coaches, and premier
level competition.
PREMIER PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS/COMMITMENT (BOYS AND
GIRLS) - All MMFC 2010 premier team programs will
include the following:
*
Practice - Up to 8 months of indoor and outdoor team
training beginning in November 2009 (one practice
per week for the first 5 months, and two per week
for the remaining time).
* Games – One game per week January through
March. Up to two games per week beginning April
through June.
* Foot Skills/Player

(One session per week for 12 weeks beginning in
January 2010).
* Speed and agility <http://www.mainemetrofc.com/Footskills_Training.htm>
- One session per week for 12 weeks (On the same
night as Foot Skills).
* Goalkeeper Training – One session per week
for 12 weeks (On the same night as Foot Skills).

- Learning all the fundamentals for scoring goals
(One session per week for 6 weeks indoor beginning
in March 2010).
* Winter Round Robin - Up to two winter
Jamborees (minimum three games each Jamboree).
* Winter Indoor Tournaments
- Up to two winter indoor tournaments (MMFC Indoor
Tournament + one other).
* Winter Indoor League - Up
to two sessions (team preference and league
availability).
* Spring Tournaments - Up
to three spring tournaments.
* Spring Outdoor League -
NESL or NE Sub Regional league (team preference).
* Uniform Kit (adidas) -
Home and away jersey, home and away shorts, home and
away socks, warm up suit, training shirt, bag pack.

- adidas footwear card (valued at $50 towards your
player's adidas foot ware purchased through
WeGotSoccer). The foot ware discount card will be
provided for all MMFC players who are registered
with the club on or before October 31, 2009 for the
2010 season.

- TO DOWNLOAD OUR PLAYER REGISTRATION. Please bring
the completed registration form with you to tryouts.
All
players trying out must sign in 30 minutes before
the designated tryout time. A $10 tryout fee is
required (cash preferred). If you have attended a
prior tryout and paid at the first tryout, you will
not need to pay a second time.

TRYOUT TO BE CONSIDERED.
Frequently asked questions
* What are the fees for the
program? The cost will depend on the age group and
will be confirmed before the player commits to play
for the club.
* Does the club offer a payment plan option?
Yes, parents may pay by credit card or check in
three or four monthly payments.
* Does the club subsidize player fee? Yes, we
provide subsidies to MMFC players who have been
registered with the club for the prior 12 months.
The 2009 subsidy will be determined following the
2009 summer camp.
* Does the club offer discounts if a family
has more than one player registered with the club?
Yes ($100 off the fee for the second player -
limited to one discount per family).
* Are scholarships available? Answer – Yes,
for players who are in financial need and who are in
the top third of the rostered group. Players
eligible for scholarships must complete the MMFC
scholarship application and must be recommended by
the coach.
