Windham U12 Girls Play Saco tough in 1-0 Loss

Falmouth ME: The Windham U12 Girls lost a defensive battle 1-0 to Saco in The Falmouth Fall Classic Championship.

Both teams displayed great defense and got great goal keeping during a scoreless first half.

Saco scored midway through the second half on a shot from the right side that hit the far back corner of the net.

Windham advanced to the semi-finals by defeating Cumberland 2-0 and Brunswick 6-2 before playing Saco to a 3-3 tie. The Windham girls defeated Falmouth 6-1 to advance to the finals against Saco.
