Windham Girls Win Fifth Straight To Remain

The Windham 5th
grade girls travel basketball team proved
unstoppable in winning their fifth straight game
in as many contests.
After defeating
Scarborough 22-19 on December 7th in Westbrook,
the girls faced Greely in a home contest
tonight. It was a battle of undefeated teams,
but Windham took the early lead and never looked
back, downing Greely 34-14.
The team is
represented by Ciera Berthiaume, Alex Cirillo,
Katie Herzig, Kayla Hoglund, Courtney Keller,
Julia Linevitch, Erin Merchant, Mira Murray,
Sadie Nelson, Sadie Pearson, Keara Pulsifer and
Laura Tracy, and is coached by Lana Merchant and
assistants Danny Merchant and John Linevitch.
They face Cape
Elizabeth next Sunday in Freeport before the
holiday break.
