Windham Girls Win Cross Country Meet

WINDHAM ME: The
Windham Middle School Girls Cross Country team
won a three team meet in Windham.
Coach Paula Pock
said "The girls did a great job running as a
team."
They took places;
1st (Sam Frost, Grade 7), 2nd (Cassie Symonds,
Grade 6), and 4th (Lauren Linevitch, Grade 7),
5th (Lauren Shoemaker, Grade 7), and 8-12!
The girls really
stepped it up this time. It was really intense
on the last hill. Two Raymond girls were trying
to sneak up to the front but (Coaches) Doug
(Green) and Paula (Pock) called for help. We
swept them off their feet.
"Why is everyone
chasing me?" is the quote on the back of the
shirts and it's a good question to ponder on
because nobody was left behind. |
