Starting the game were Shawn Francoeur, Isaac
Gurney, Jake Perry, Dylan Weisser and Colby
Waterhouse. Weisser had his hands full as he had to
defend Gorham’s #55 who had at least 3 inches on him
and very long arms. Windham scored first and Joe
Francoeur followed with a three-pointer but Gorham
got aggressive and started making moves to the
hoop. They emerged at the end of the first quarter
in the lead by 3.

In
the second quarter, Calvin Field, Joe Francoeur,
Brad Carpentier, Christian Coons and Hawreh Haddadi
took the floor. This group quickly clicked and
began putting points on the board and played tough
defense. They combined for 21 points and only
allowed seven to go into the locker room at half
time leading 30-19.
Strong play in both the third and fourth quarters
allowed Windham to pull away and put this one in the
books. Even though the third quarter was close,
Windham out-scored Gorham 24-10 in the second half
to record the win.
