Gorham (5-0) scores in overtime to out-duel
Windham (3-2) 1-0 in Windham.
Gorham
standout Rachel Burns scored the game's only
goal 2:57 into the overtime period. Burns
was named the 2007 Maine Sunday Telegram
girls soccer player of the year.
Nicole
Belhumeur had 10 saves to earn the shutout
for Gorham. Jaci Lorenzen and
Riley Graves combined for 14 saves for
Windham.
Windham hosts
Scarborough on Tuesday September 23, 2008.
