WYBA SCOREKEEPER LOVES FOLLOWING THE KIDS
BASKETBALL CAREERS
February 13, 2008
Izzy Booth is
a fixture at Windham Youth Basketball games
at Manchester School. For the past eight
years she has been keeping score for the
boys and girls.
Izzy is well
known by the players. She is also a
librarian at Manchester School. She also
works at the Windham Skate Park in the
summer.

Izzy told us
"My favorite part is knowing the kids." This
is obvious to everyone on Saturdays as she
cheers on each player, usually by name. She
also added
"The Basketball Board (members) are very
good to me and it is my pleasure to work for
them."

Her support of
the students extends well beyond her
official duties. The first time I saw the
name Izzy Booth was shortly after I
developed Windham Sports Pages. She left a
note of encouragement on a question and
answer session with one of Windham's bright
young stars. You will find her name
scattered around the comment sections of
different articles showing her support for
many of Windham's student athletes.
We thank you
Izzy Booth for being so supportive of our
children and making them all feel special
when they step on the court.
COMMENTS:
Wish we had
more individuals like Izzy who supports the
kids like she does.
You are a
class act Izzy!
