CHICAGO BULLS WIN WYBA BOYS SENIOR LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIP

The Chicago Bulls capture WYBA Senior League Championship with a 41-37 victory over the Toronto Raptors.

Chicago Bulls finished 2nd this year in the WYBA Boys Senior League regular season with a record of 7 wins and 3 losses.

They beat a scrappy Dallas Maverick team in the playoffs anchored by guard Josh Dugas and
advanced to the Finals. Chicago then beat top seed Toronto Raptors in the championship game
to cap a strong season.

The final game went down to the wire with Raptors guard Spencer Hodges strong play and steady support from forwards Jack Giampino and Sam Coons keeping the game close.

However in the end, Chicago outside shooting by standout Derek Hammond and strong inside play of
Christian Hewitt was the difference. Both teams and their respective benches played a strong
championship game, all went home winners.

We are from Illinois so did not see most of the games, but certainly enjoyed that final one. Congratulations to the whole team and their coaches!
