Windham- In a fairly
matched game, the Windham junior squad
worked hard in defeating the junior Noble
Squires 20-8.
After a scoreless first
quarter, Windham would work its way down the
field with a combination of running and one
passing play. Tony Taylor would bust
through the Noble line for a two yard
touchdown. The two point conversion attempt
was foiled by Noble.

#28 Jordan
Harmon sprints 70 yards for Windham's second
touchdown.
Reyanne Matthews (AOW)
would run the two point conversion in.
After Windham’s defense
would hold the Squires, they would punt to
put the Eagles deep in their own territory.
It didn’t take long for Jordan Harmon to
sprint seventy yards to put the Eagles on
the board again.
Reyanne Matthews would convert on the
point after to put the Eagles up 14-0 at the
half.
Turnovers would plague
the Squires, but Windham didn’t totally
capitalize like their senior counterparts
did in the first game. Late in the third
quarter, after a
James Wynn fumble recovery,
Norman Watson would pass the ball Isaac
Gurney and he would outrun the defense to
put another six on the board. The Squires
would foil
Reyanne Matthews at the line attempting
to add two to the board.

a 46 yard touchdown reception on the play.

Noble was going away in
the game however. With less than four
minutes in the game, they would add a
touchdown and two point conversion of their
own. On the onside kickoff, Noble would
recover the ball with approximately 3:40
left on the clock. Noble would incur a
penalty for illegal motion. Then they moved
the ball.

With time running, Noble
kept moving. With less than two minutes
left, Kyle Dumond would recover a fumble to
keep the Squires from gaining anything more
in the game. After a few running plays and
first down,
Watson would take a knee to end the
game.
Catch the junior Eagles
next week in York following the A squad
game.
