WINDHAM ME: Windham’s
powerful team continued its winning ways
against the Kittery Sharks in 40-0 win on
Saturday night.
Windham dominated from
the start by winning the toss. Damien
Shepard
(AOW)
took the first hand off 43 yards to put the
Eagles on the board. The PAT kick missed

On the
kickoff,
Colby Waterhouse
(AOW)
kicked the ball into the end zone to give
the Sharks first and ten from their own
twenty. The Eagle defense held the Sharks
from advancing and forced them to punt.

Colby Waterhouse
(AOW)
was deep to receive.
Waterhouse
(AOW)
fielded the ball cleanly and scrambled 45
yards to score for Windham. The Eagles
lined up to kick the PAT and instead,
Christian Coons stood up and rolled right
and passed to Damien Shepard
(AOW)
in the end zone to convert the two point
conversion.

After the ensuing
kickoff, the Eagles defense again would push
the Sharks back and
Jake Perry recovered a fumble on the
Shark five yard line.
Christian Coons made short work of
converting the touchdown. The PAT kick
missed wide.
The Eagle defense loomed
large again when
Colby Waterhouse
(AOW)
intercepted a Shark pass on the 30 and ran
untouched for the Eagle touchdown. The PAT
missed.

After the kick off,
defense was again key.
Christian Coons picked off a pass and
Colby Waterhouse
(AOW)
converted the touchdown after rushing 32
yards.
Joe Francoeur kicked the PAT to put the
Eagles up 34-0 at the end of the first
quarter.

In the second quarter,
Nick Sundquist took a quarterback keeper six
yards to finish the Eagle scoring.
The Eagles did their best
to not make the game a complete blow out.
They used the opportunity to block passes,
work on special teams and give the second
teams a chance to work on the Sharks.
Damien Shepard
(AOW)
finished the game with 1 carry for 43 yards
and a touchdown while
Colby Waterhouse
(AOW)
finished with 80 yards rushing and three
touchdowns (Rushing, Punt Return &
Interception Return)
The team
accomplished a rare feat, completing the
game with no penalties for the first time
this season.
Don’t miss the Eagles
next week in Saco as they take on the only
other undefeated team in
SMFYL. This game will be the final
regular season game for both teams and will
decide home field advantage for the
playoffs. This is a big game for both
squads. Make the drive to Saco to support
your MS Eagle Football team!
