DEERING HANDS WINDHAM GIRLS LOSS

Deering hands Windham second loss of season, 54-30.

 

Despite playing great defense, Windham struggled offensively and dropped to 0-2 on the season.

 

Coach Jessie Mayol said, "We had great looks at the hoop but the ball was just not falling."

 

Helen Libby led Windham scorers with 11 points, Kelsey McGowan added six points, Jenna Willey and Riley Graves chipped in with four points each.

 

Riley Graves pulled down 13 rebounds, Kelsey McGowan had seven and Jenna Willey had six.

 

Mayol added, "The girls played well, boxed out well and played great help side defense."

 

Windham plays at Scarborough on Saturday December 15 at 7:00PM.
