Saint Joseph’s (16-5, 11-3 GNAC) shot 57.8%
from the floor and made 15 three-pointers in
a 96-74 victory over GNAC rival Norwich
University (11-10, 6-8 GNAC) at the Harold
Alfond Center on Saturday afternoon. Zach
O’Brien ’12 (Schenectady, NY) and Alberto
Rue ’10 (Jamaica Plain, MA) combined to
shoot 9-14 from beyond the arc and scored 21
points apiece in the lopsided contest.

outlasted Saint Joseph’s (10-11, 4-4 GNAC),
59-57, in GNAC Women’s Basketball action at
the Harold Alfond Center on Saturday
afternoon. The Monks trailed by six at
halftime, but a second-stanza rally fell
just short against the Cadets, who continue
to sit atop the conference standings. Meghan
Daigle ’10 (Grantham, NH) led the Royal Blue
with 16 points and added a game-high 11
rebounds in the loss.
